L
LPA Receiver
In close relation to the Law of Property Act from 1925, the LPA receiver is a person who is appointed under the Law of Property Act from 1925 to take charge of a mortgaged property. The lender of the property has to be in default, only then he can appoint an LPA Receiver. The role of this LPA receiver is to arrange a sale of the certain property or to collect rental income from the lender, the outcome depending on the exact situation. An LPA receiver has the following powers: to demand and to recover all the income of which he is appointed receiver, to sell the mortgaged property on the best terms, but his powers are also limited in few ways, so the law will limit his actions and he can proceed with them only by following the actual legislation.
