There are two definitions covered by this term, one of them is a general judiciary meaning, the other has a debt related meaning. The first and more common meaning of judgement is a decision made by the court after hearing all parties. In other words, a judgement is the final ruling of the court, a conclusion of a trial. In case of the other meaning the situation changes a little, and now the word only means that the court recognizes a debt. It could be explained as the official recognition of a debt of a person or a company.
